  • Health, wealth, and other such resources—should be sought because they promote well-being, not because they are what well-being consists in.
  • You become that which you shower with attention.
  • Lifestyle inflation is tempting and the undoing of many; strive to live below your means.
  • A good life is one that is lived by a rational soul in accordance with virtue and excellence.
  • Happiness (Eudaimonia) is not a state or condition, but lifelong activities that actualise the virtues of the rational part of the soul.
  • Virtuousness does not happen by chance but through daily mindful and prudent exercises.
  • Never let your emotions reach a point where it undermines reason.
  • The key to guilt-free splurges/indulgences is budgeting ahead for them.
  • Take charge of your actions and attitudes and approach all other things outside your control with indifference.
  • Never do anything out of habit – Be Intentional.
